I will only use this company now for my pick up and returns. I have moved house and had to buy a lot of furniture (using ebay) all over the UK. Themanwithvan.co.uk and his team have delivered and collected on the day they state. I have even had them to deliver to me at 22hrs, which was great as this was a 250 miles trip for them and they estimated ETA within this time frame. All items arrive undamaged, very rare, given previous experiences, with parts damaged, using couriers. These guys are always helpful and positive and this is why I will carrying using them. The two removal guys who moved us were brilliant, friendly, and willing to carry boxes and furniture wherever we wanted it. Would use them again. Collection and delivery of goods was handled professionally, with staff courteous and helpful. Only concern was fluidity of arrival times during the day, but understand my job was fitted in at short notice around larger removal jobs.

I could not have asked for more. The team were friendly, helpful and above all very careful and efficient. They were so helpful in every way and I would absolutely recommend them for this kind of thing. I would certainly use them again any time.

Mihai and his colleague did my move on 18-july. Both guys arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. Despite it being the hottest day of the year they worked tirelessly without even a small break (even though I kept telling them to as I was concerned about their health). They moved everything from a to b without any breakages. They even offered me advice about how to transport my fish tank safely. Mihai and his colleague are a credit to your company. Hi Themanwithvan.co.uk, your men with the van were marvellous. They made what could have been a horrid day, very bearable. The storage facility in Glossop they recommended after the Highpeak storage let me down is very good and the staff very helpful however I have just about filled to the brim the unit I have. This means all I can fit is and even that is a maybe is your men can wangle how to do it, is a washing machine, a dryer and a fridge freezer moved on Monday which will not take the minimum contract of three hours.....is there any leeway on this? I definitely cannot thank them enough for their very hard work and the care they took. Angela slann

Hi I recently moved house from Luddington to Polebrook and with all the chaos after I never got a chance to email you. I just wanted to let you know that the two guys you sent to help with the move were absolutely brilliant. I couldn't have wished for a better service. They arrived earlier than I'd booked, and I was worried that I wasn't ready for them but they just got stuck in and worked really hard. There was no sign of them wanting to make the job last longer than necessary and, while they worked really quickly, they were also really careful with our possessions, with nothing broken or damaged. They were also very polite and courteous. I would not hesitate to use these guys again, and in fact often have to empty houses for my work in the film industry and would happily hire you for this if we were in the area. The two gentlemen that helped with my Edinburgh move did an absolutely amazing job, they were helpful, polite, tidy and quick. I cannot recommend this service highly enough, from the quick response at the time of booking, to having all my questions answered prior to the move to the great work done on the day, the whole process was flawless. I was expected to be stressed and tired after moving but instead I was able to enjoy my new home that evening, I'm delighted with the fantastic service and highly recommend "The Man With Van".

The guys were fantastic during my house move, they were very professional and extremely friendly. Nothing was a problem and in the end made my life allot easier! I have 2 new born twins and a house move was stressful to begin with however with the guys they made it run smooth! I would definitely reccomend.

I just wanted to say how good the guys you sent over were last week. They were very friendly and moved everything Id asked without any hesitation. I particularly loved that they put slippers on their shoes so not to make the carpets dirty. I gave them an extra £20 for the superb service they gave. I found them on Google and it was less than 20 mins that my email was replied to by Themanwithvan.co.uk on the telephone regarding moving a lorryload. They were MORE than helpful, even when I messed them around a bit and they even managed to couple us up with someone else to bring down the costs. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again, and I am fussy!! They really are out to please the customer and help - which is a rarity these days.

I had a a very last minute request to move the contents of a 2nd floor apartment, made more difficult by the fact that the move had to take place on a Sunday - and I only made the call a couple of days in advance of this! The quote given to me was a very good price and the two men (and a van) called prior to arrival to say they were on their way. They then worked diligently and quickly to load everything up, drive to the new location and offload There were no damages, no delays and no moaning about having to work last minute on a Sunday. All in all I would rate them as a great team and have no hesitation in using them again

The guys that came to move us were absolutely brilliant, they took time to organise and pack the van properly so that our things arrived at the other end in pristine condition. Very friendly, organised and careful movers.

The guys that did our removal were fantastic. They didn't complain once, just got on with the job and did everything asked efficiently. Only down side is that we were quoted a flat fee as a price match which was changed to an hourly fee on the day which left me no option but to continue with the removal. This added a further £90 to my overall fee. However, we were offered £5 per hour discount but I just felt that if a deal was offered, it should have been adhered to.

Have used these guys twice now and am about to use them again on 28/11/13. They are always exceptionally polite, helpful and do a great job. Very reasonably priced to!

Hi Guys, You moved us in March of this year and did a really excellent job (lovely guys - very patient, accommodating and tenacious - they do not give up - even when a piece of furniture looks like it is completely the wrong shape and size to get into your new house!) Our ' man' arrived on time. He was polite and friendly and carried out the removal efficiently. We could not have managed to move such heavy furniture without his help. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again!

This company provided me with a massive service at very short notice, collecting furniture from a manufacturing company, carefully wrapping it and then delivering so that I could have my new items in time for Christmas. Both the delivery men were very polite, friendly and took their shoes off!! I couldn't recommend them highly enough
